Jennifer told a friend she was running for Judge, and he frowned. He remarked, “I don’t like judges.” He is probably not alone in that sentiment. Jennifer wants to change that. The judicial system has the power to greatly impact individual lives. Chances are, most people will interact with the judicial system at some point. Judges shouldn’t be such a mystery to people and the community they serve. It is important judges remain neutral in matters of politics and in matters a judge could be called upon to render a decision. That doesn’t mean judges have to live cloistered from the community. Through civic activities, community education, and personal contacts, Jennifer's commitment is to remain engaged with the people of Philadelphia.
